Healing Roots Gardens Update

Hi Gardening and Wellness Friends 👋🏼

It has been a minute since I’ve consistently posted on socials or on the blog. Life has a funny way of lifing. I’ve been present in my cohorts, but I want to make the time to be present online to provide free content, to provide support in the gardens and support with neuromuscular challenges within our bodies. Keep a look out for new content in the coming days along with an opening for the fall cohort.

In the past few months, I’ve been experimenting with how to grow my garden in pots on a balcony in Egypt. It’s been a great experience that has led to more failures than successes this first season. More water than I ever anticipated is needed to beat the heat and keep the plants from stress. Also, finding the best pots to plant in has been a challenge. So far, the best is something similar to terracotta. Instead of the pot being an iron rich clay like in terracotta, these pots are from the mud of the Nile River containing iron and magnesium. This gives the pots a brownish grey coloring rather than the brownish red of terracotta. I’ve enjoyed my experimenting the last few months and I look forward to a more successful fall garden.

I hope you will join me this fall in the garden and let’s grow together.

Until next time…..

🌿To our health and the health of our gardens🌿
